In today’ world different industries are using different technologies so that they can do more work in less time. The same thing is happening in the recruitment industry where internet is taking the hold. Online recruitment in which recruitment is done through internet is becoming highly popular. Though candidates are being called for physically for the interviews but most of the work is done online only. For instance the advertisement about the vacant job positions is done on internet only on different job boards and website. Then candidates apply for the posts through internet only and if they get short listed they can be called in for the interview or a telephonic interview round is conducted. In brief online recruitment saves lots of time and resources and those resources can be used for other productive works. It is true that this form of recruitment is beneficial for every company and industry to which it belongs but they are more important and efficient when it comes to volume recruitment. In volume recruitment it becomes easy and speedy to short list candidates with the help of online recruitment.
